IKZ Summer School: Quantum computing as a material challenge
Chausse 29
12489 Berlin
The Summer School delivers an overview of the state-of-the-art of quantum computing with the focus on spin qubits. In addition to general understandable explanations of important principles the material science challenges for the construction of silicon-based qubits will be explained. What are the benefits and challenges of a quantum computer? How could a scalable architecture of a quantum chip look like and how could it be operated? What semiconductor system is best suited and what are the demands on its quality?
We could win Dr. Lars Schreiber from the Institute for Quantum Information (IQI) of the RWTH Aachen as a lecturer.
Interested employees are kindly requested to register by email to summer.school@ikz-berlin.de.
The registration deadline is 19.08.2019. As the number of participants is limited to 55, we will send you a feedback until 23.08.2019.
